Healthy eating has been important to Jenny throughout her life, carrying on what she learned from her parents who entered the health food industry when whole wheat bread was an anomaly.
Jenny is a nutrition consultant, working with private clients as well as leading interactive workshops. She works with digestion, weight management, stress reduction and fertility as well as overall wellness. Many health imbalances like mood and skin problems can stem from these issues.
She provides clients with practical information that helps instill confidence in choosing foods that work for them as individuals, allowing clients to transition to conscious eating that becomes an enjoyable, easy-to-maintain lifestyle. Jenny is very passionate about food and makes it a point that her clients feel satisfied, not deprived. She is thrilled to share how healthy food choices can be delicious and energizing!
If you are interested in fine tuning your diet and learning how to make your food choices sustainable for long-term health, often times a package of 4 sessions is just right. Generally a consultation at least every 2 weeks is recommended in order to follow up with changes as well as keep your momentum going. Thereafter, monthly or seasonal maintenance sessions can be helpful to stay on track.
If you are looking to work with fertility or chronic health issues, more sessions may be necessary. If this is the case, a package of 4 is recommended to start and from there, depending on the issue, you may decide to sign up for another package and continue every other week, or spread out the sessions to once a month as a maintenance program.
Single sessions are available as well although it is recommended to have more than one session total to be able to have the follow up with changes you make.
Jenny will make an individualized meal plan for you based on your food likes and health needs. In each session, you’ll discuss changes that were made and what worked for you and what didn’t. This is very individualized work and Jenny makes sure that you are comfortable with the changes you are making and that you understand why they are being made. This is key to making lasting changes that will stay with you.
Jenny is certified in holistic nutrition through Bauman College in Berkeley and is a member of the National Association of Nutrition Professionals. She has her B.A. in International Business from San Diego State University.
